15/07/2009to19/07/2009

Live Canvas will be at this amazing festival for the full 5 days this year.

Our base will be in the Artists’ Quarter where you can come and see a wide variety of our work on exhibition. Olivia Keith will be drawing several of the bands and musicians playing at The Larmer Tree Festival throughout the event.

All artwork not sold at the festival itself will be available on this website a week or two afterwards along with all other artwork from The Larmer Tree Festival.

If you can’t make this year’s festival, please look out for a full review on this news and blog page which will include details of all the artwork created, photos, videos and comments from the festival.

Acoustic Music - Stark by Oliva Keith

Acoustic Music - Stark by Olivia Keith

Drawing in the sunshine

The plans to draw and paint in the gallery were very quickly pushed to one side when we arrived in the morning. Determined to make the most of the weather and amazing setting we took the day outside beneath the shade of the trees.

Jamie and Daniel Stark plucked and strummed away for a few hours whilst a variety of artists captured the music and experience in their own way.

We were joined by several artists on the day including Olivia Keith, Heather Butler, Gillian Bathe, Deborah Wadham and Ann Lintonbon. Later in the afternoon colleagues from The Arts Poole (TAP) and other artists came to see Olivia’s exhibition and join us on the grass to enjoy the sunshine, drawing and a drop of wine.

Big thanks to all that joined us and helped with the day, particularly to Charlie from Space Above Gallery and Olivia Keith for their time and effort.

Many more where that came from

If you were there to enjoy the day, couldn’t make it or like the sound of Live Canvas events then come along next time. Keep your eye on our events calendar and join our mailing list.
